Minister of Defense visits Military Attaché Office in Washington

Minister of Defense Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, who is currently on an official visit to the United States, paid a get-acquainted visit today to the Office of the Saudi Military Attaché in Washington, D.C. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by the Military Attaché to the United States and Canada, Brig. Gen. Ahmed Al-Qahtani. Brig. Gen. Al-Qahtani lauded Prince Salman’s concern for members of the Saudi Armed Forces.

During his own remarks, Prince Salman praised those currently serving in the military, as well as their predecessors, for contributing to the stability and prosperity of the Kingdom. He also expressed confidence in the ability of Saudi youths to acquire critical skills while on scholarship in the United States and elsewhere.

Prince Salman was accompanied by Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Mosaad Al-Aiban; Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Adel A. Al-Jubeir; Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Ayesh, Commander, Royal Saudi Air Force; and Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Banyan, Chief of Staff, Office of the Minister of Defense.
