King Abdullah to host 1,400 Muslims during this year’s Hajj

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will host 1,400 Muslims from around the world during this year’s Hajj season, as part of the annual Hosting Program supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dawa’a and Guidance. In a statement, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dawa’a and Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh, who is General Supervisor of the Hosting Program, noted that the Program has hosted 18,000 pilgrims since its inception. The Muslims being hosted this year, he reported, are from Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Russia, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Singapore, Myanmar, Japan, Laos, Brunei, New Guinea, Taiwan, South Korea, the Maldives, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the State of South Sudan and various African countries.
