A couple of days ago, I was reminded that fashion bargains await at lots of places that we might not usually think about checking. I was browsing through tables at a community yard sale when I came across two pairs of new leather gloves. A quick check revealed that both pairs were my size. Each pair of the gloves still bore the retailer's labels and tags--Saks Fifth Avenue. Originally $72 for a pair, the gloves were now only $12 a pair at the yard sale. I snapped them up, happy to have found brand new gloves in bright fashion colors of cobalt blue and emerald green at a fraction of their original retail price. Now I won't go so far as to say that I can't wait for winter to arrive so that I can wear the gloves, but I smiled as I tucked them into the dresser drawer. We never know where or when we'll find a fashion bargain.
