FIFA Rocked by Document Accusing Former President with Corruption
Former FIFA President Joao Havelange, 95, and his son-in-law Ricardo Teixeira, both football administrators from Brazil, have been named by Swiss prosecutors at the Swiss supreme court of taking multi-million dollar bribes on World Cup deals, to favour the now defunct International Sports and Leisure, ISL, in commercial rights to broadcast World Cup competitions on behalf of FIFA.

For the major part of Sunday's Formula 1 Grand Prix atSilverstone it seemed that Fernando Alonso was set to repeat his historic 2011 British victory for Ferrari, until that is, Red Bull’s Mark Webber managed to turn the tables dramatically with just five laps remaining to win ahead of the Spaniard with his Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel in third place.

Serena Williams won her fifth Wimbledon singles title when she beat Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 on Centre Court on Saturday afternoon. It is the American's 14th Grand Slam title and Radwanska's first appearance in a Grand Slam final.
