The Dean's Lunch Seminars

Explorations. Connections. Opportunities.

Throughout the academic year, Georgetown College students are invited to join Georgetown alumni and leading members of the Washington, DC community for lunch and conversation. The College Dean’s Office will host visitors from across a variety of career fields for informal exchange and dialogue about:

  • Their experiences at Georgetown and/or in Washington;

  • The convergence of their academic interests and their chosen career;

  • The evolution of their plans, from their start as first-years in college to today.

Students will connect with professionals in the Georgetown and DC community to learn more about transitions from college to the “real world,” to hear how they might start making decisions now that can foster future career opportunities, and to know what these leaders wish they had known while they were still in college. The Seminars will provide students with unique opportunities to learn from insiders, to reflect on their own goals and interests, and to explore the full range of possibilities that await graduates of Georgetown College.

To sign-up for the Dean's Lunch Seminar, contact Tad Howard in the College Dean's Office. Seminars take place at 12:00 p.m. in the conference room of ICC 303. Lunch is included.
