OPINION – A former Los Angeles police officer whose 3-year-old son shot him with his service weapon has won the revival of his lawsuit against gun maker Glock Inc., convincing an appeals court that a jury should decide whether a “light” trigger and lack of a safety mechanism rendered the gun defective.
