There has been a low turnout at the elections of the Local Council in Zliten. The number of registered voters reached 74 thousands but only 14 thousand participated comparing to the number of participants in the July National Congress elections which reached 59 thousand.

It is time for Gaddafi loyalists to give up because they are in no position to reverse the progress that has been made in the meantime and their struggle is not for a just cause anyway.
