Parental Guidance Lock

Parental Guidance Lock

We've developed the Parental Guidance Lock as a safeguard to help you control which BBC programmes may be accessed on your computer.

If you turn on Parental Guidance Lock, your computer will not be able to play Guidance-labelled programmes unless you first type in a password. What are guidance labels?

If you forget your password, we can email it back to you. We won't use this email address for anything else. More on the BBC's privacy policy.

Please note the Parental Guidance Lock we describe here is for use on BBC Online pages. If you download programmes using BBC iPlayer Desktop you can set up its own separate Parental Guidance Lock. Find out more about the BBC iPlayer Desktop Parental Guidance Lock.
