Khaled Fahmy
Khaled
Fahmy is a professor of history and the chair of the History
department at the American University in Cairo. He is the author of several
books, most recently Mehmed Ali: From
Ottoman Governor to Ruler of Egypt. He has written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and
Washington Post, and contributes regularly to the Egypt Independent.
