The USD exchange rate used isthat as of 01/02/2012.The fees information are presented in ranges. We have endeavouredto identify the average cost of undergraduate courses excludingoutliers such as medicine, veterinary science MBA and other subjectswhich typically present significantly higher fees than the majority ofthe other undergraduate and graduate courses offeredby universities.
QS was not able to confirm the accuracy of the fees information with all the universities featuredby the publication date, therefore we reserves the right to update theinformation from time to time. Due to complexitiesand differences in tertiary education fee structures around the world,the following countries’ current system should be noted.
Most domestic students are Commonwealth supported for their undergraduate degrees.Domestic undergraduate students are only required to pay part of thecost of tuition called a “student contribution”.Full fee-paying (non-Commonwealth supported) domestic students are nolonger accepted by public Australian tertiary education institutionsfrom 2011. There is currently a four band fee system. The figurespresented for domestic undergraduate students weretaken as a mean average of the four bands.
Average fees for undergraduate degrees at University of Delhi, University ofPune, University of Mumbai and University of Calcutta are not available.Affiliated colleges have differing fee structures, available on theirwebsites. Foreign student fees may differ depending on the course andthe nationality.
The fees indicated for undergraduate domestic fees are valid for undergraduate students domiciled in Scotland and the EU. In mostScottish institutions, the fees for undergraduate studentsdomiciled in the Rest of UK (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) are£9,000.
Reciprocal fee arrangements exist allowing EU students to studying in any EU country topay the same fees as domestic undergraduate students. Some exceptionsmay apply.
