Jake Naughton

Jake is a photographer, multimedia producer + editor, and graphic designer. He received his bachelor’s degree of journalism from the University of Wisconsin—Madison in May 2010. He is passionate about making, seeing and facilitating storytelling that transcends boundaries and genres and forces people to open their eyes, take stock and engage deeply with the crazy world in which we live.

Additionally, he works as the Media Director for Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, a grassroots, free, all-girls high school in the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya. He has traveled throughout Africa and speaks Swahili conversationally.

His interests lie in the future of in-depth, critical and informed multimedia journalism and creating a more globally-engaged community. Above all, he is a storyteller, editor and visual evangelist.
