China’s retail sales increased by 14.2% yoy in September

Retail sales growth picked up from 13.2% yoy in August to 14.2% yoy in September in nominal term, better than market expectation of 13.2% yoy. In real term, retail sales is up 13.2% yoy, up from 12.1% yoy in August.

On a month-on-month and seasonally adjusted basis, retail sales increased by 1.46% in September, up from the revised figure of 1.36% in August.
