Baghdad (NINA) - The Iraqi Olympic team meets with its Omani counterpart tomorrow at 6.00 pm, on the Oman Qaboos Sports Complex.
This meeting is part of preparations for the team to meet its Australian counterpart in the second round of Asian qualifications on 22nd of this month, for the 2012 London Olympiads.
Member of the Iraqi Football Association and head of the delegation, Na’eem Saddam, stated "the match with Australia is of great importance, winning means returning to the competition for one of the two seats for the next phase of the final qualifications."
Radhi Shnaishil, team coach, said that the same team formation that will play Australia is playing tomorrow, referring to the readiness of the team to play these matches. /End/
