Soldiers from the Central Security Forces (CSF) who lost their lives on Monday are victims of negligence, stated eliminated presidential candidate Amr Moussa on his official Twitter account, Tuesday.

The former Arab League leader also sent his condolences to the victims' families.

More than 21 CSF soldiers were killed and 27 reported injured early Monday in Egypt's eastern Sinai Peninsula when, according to official reports, the driver of the car transporting the soldiers lost control of the steering wheel whilst driving over rugged terrain.

Moussa commented that transporting such a high number of soldiers in one car without taking the appropriate safety measures reflects negligence.

According to the Central Authority for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS), traffic accidents in Egypt cause an average of 19.5 deaths per day.

No!
No Amr Mussa! Allowing a person to drive and have a licence when a driving test consists of driving in reverse between 6 traffic cones is to blame for the appalling amount of death and recklessness on Egypts roads. When is Egypt going to adopt a proper driving test?!!!!
