ORDER - In debtor’s Chapter 13 case, California Housing Finance Agency filed a Motion for Relief from Automatic Stay. Bankruptcy judge’s denial of debtor’s request for jury to decide motion was within court’s jurisdiction, and judge was not liable to debtor’s civil action. (S.D. Cal.)

PRIVACY - May v. Best Buy

COMPLAINT - Motorcycle racer Geoff May has filed a complaint against Best Buy, alleging defendant has used images of May and his residence without permission, in violation of his privacy. (Super. Ct., Cal.)

ANTITRUST – Ritz Camera & Image LLC v. Sandisk Corp.

OPINION – “Walker Process” antitrust liability may attach when someone uses a patent to obtain or maintain a monopoly, if they got the patent through fraud. In this case the court ruled that a direct purchaser of defendant’s products could bring a Walker Process antitrust claim, even though they could not bring a patent claim against defendant. (Fed. Cir.)
