AMMAN — More than 600 experts and stakeholders in the digital gaming industry will convene in Amman on Friday at the start of the Jordan Gaming Summit, Nour Khreis, chairman of the Jordan Gaming Task Force, said Thursday.

The two-day summit, to be attended by participants from Jordan, the Arab world, Europe and elsewhere, will highlight the latest technologies in the industry.

University students and investors as well as start-ups in the sector will take part in the summit, Khreis told The Jordan Times.

“The summit provides an opportunity for networking and connecting start-ups with potential investors,” he said, adding that Jordan is among the biggest producers of mobile and online games in the region.

Founded in 2011, the Jordan Gaming Task Force seeks to develop the electronic gaming industry in the region.
