FALSE ADVERTISING - Golloher v. Todd Christopher Int'l
COMPLAINT - A complaint has been filed against Todd Christopher International, Inc. dba Vogue International requesting it be enjoined from marketing cosmetic products using the name “Organix,” which represents that the products are composed of organic ingredients when they are almost entirely inorganic. (N.D. Cal.)
RESTITUTION - People v. Guth
OPINION - Amount of restitution had factual and rational basis where defendants plead guilty to securities fraud involving real estate-backed securities. (Cal.Ct. App., 2d Dist.)
PERSONAL INJURY - Gamboa v. USA Cycling Inc.
COMPLAINT - A complaint has been filed against organizers of a bicycle race for failure to warn motorists of cyclists and provide escorts for riders. Where riders were crowded on a particular stretch and truck encroached on center line, plaintiff was seriously injured. (C.D. Cal.)

William McConagha joins Sidley Austin as a new partner in its Washington office; Perkins Coie partner Robert Bauer returns to NYU School of Law as a teacher.
