EU Slams Israeli FM for Likening Criticism of Settlements to Holocaust
Lieberman Insists EU Has 'Holocaust Attitude'
European Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton has condemned Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman for comments yesterday during which he likened the EU’s opposition to settlement expansion to the Holocaust.
Ashton called the comments “offensive and inappropriate.” Israeli opposition figures also faulted Lieberman for the statement, saying it would further drive a wedge between Israel and the EU.
His comments in an interview with Voice of Israel, included accusing the European Union of having a “Holocaust attitude” and in comments to the Yisrael Beiteinu Party he likened EU opposition to the settlements to the attitude in Europe in the late 1930′s.
Several members of Israel’s far-right government have expressed annoyance at the EU’s opposition to expanding settlements deeper into the occupied West Bank, but the rest have stopped short of the sort of comments Lieberman made.

This brutish a-hole should be sent straight to the Hague and hanged. A criminal, vulgar lumpen as Foreign Minister of a country that breaks international law every other day.

They stopped short only in public where the West can hear it. That is clearly what they think.
We need to deal with these crazies. Giving in to them, in fact supporting and empowering them, is leading us into some very serious trouble.

The zionist do not need those EU jackasses any longer and as far as they are concerned the EU is just a mild agravation and they can kiss the zionist asses.

The every cry of Israel is "remember the Holocaust" when the real Holocaust is what they are doing to the Palestinians, whose only crime is that Israel covet Palestinian land.
250UN resolutions against Israel illegal occupation and with the recent 138-9 Member Nation vote in favor of Palestinian UN membership upgrade despite Lieberman and Netanyahu et al objection they are running around like headless chooks believing they can brow beat the EU by screeching 'remember the Holocaust'.

It seems anything outside of tribute and high praise makes one an "anti-semite".

The holocaust, the holocaust, Hitler is on the rise! Therefore the IDF must shoot young boys with toy guns. You see the connection, right?

It's well known that israel's agents all over Europe and the US are trying to criminalize any criticism of israel or israelis. Criticism of israel=anti-semitism=terrorism and should be punished with death. That is the sick mindset of the israeli political class who think of the themselves as jehovas on earth.

Mr. Lieberman, you insult every Jew who died in the camps. How dare you! You seem to have forgotten what the camps really did. Too bad there is not a nation on Earth that could grow a pair, build an oven, and tell Lieberman "this is what the Holocaust is all about", not Israel's land theft and war crimes.
