Point of order is a socio-political, live, hard talk show with a unique identity, which hosts controversial characters. Bold and audacious consecutive questions addressed to the guest, keeping the viewer on his toes by its rapid rhythm and by turning the atmosphere into challenge.

Hassan Mouawad

Mouawad was Born in Jericho (West Bank) in 1950 and received his early education in schools in Jericho and Amman. He graduated from Jordan University in 1974 with Bsc. Degree in business studies.

He worked as station chief accountant in Jordan Airline bureau in Geneva, Switzerland then joined BBC Arabic radio in London in 1977.

In the BBC, Hasan worked as a producer/news reader, current affairs senior producer, deputy head of Current Affairs department then head of current affairs and newsgathering until 2001 when he took an early retirement.

In November 2001, Hasan joined MBC group in London as a media adviser then moved with them to Dubai in 2002 where he launched Panorama FM radio and became director of MBC radios. At the same time and with the Launching of Al Arabiya he presented a weakly hard talk program Point of Order until 2007 when he returned to London and joined BBC Arabic TV as an anchor of hard talk program *To the point.* In 2011 Hasan returned to Al Arabiya where he resumed presenting the current affairs program Point of order.
