217 violations registered on first day of Tawjihi

AMMAN — Minister of Education Wajih Owais on Monday said the first General Secondary Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) winter session exam on Sunday witnessed 217 violations.

Owais said that most of the violations were attempts to sneak mobile phones into examination halls.

More than 8,000 students sat for the Tawjihi winter session’s second exam on Monday, while 186,666 students are registered for the exams, which will run through January 17.
