Maysan fields have stockpile of crude oil estimated 30 billion barrels in addition to large amounts of associated gas . the total oil fields in Maysan is 11 fields and the number of wells drilled is more than 85 wells. The coalition of Chinese CNBC , France Total and Malaysia PETRONAS had previously signed a of a business contract to develop Halfaya field in Maysan during the second licensing round, which took place in December last year. / End
