Blogger Philip Weiss discusses why there can be no two-state solution for Israel-Palestine; how a further rightward turn in Israel’s Knesset could push Netanyahu to annex the West Bank – and possibly incur the wrath of Europe; and the neoconservatives’ so-far unsuccessful campaign to derail Chuck Hagel’s nomination for Secretary of Defense.

Thanks for a very interesting interview and introducing me for the first time to Philip Weiss; he is a very interesting guy.
Yes very good. Not only an interview also a discussion.
What about trying to get Norman Finkelstein next time (about Israel/Palestine) now?
Finkelstein would be an excellent guest. (By the way, read his book “The Holocaust Industry.”)
Israel is often compared to apartheid era South Africa, but the description of Israel’s politics in this interview made it sound like Rhodesia in the 1970′s. I would be interested in seeing a comparative analysis done between the politics of Ian Smith and the people who were willing to follow him, and the politics of Netanyahu and his supporters.
The U.S. Government’s subservience to Israel–that criminal, racist Zionist entity–is a colossal disgrace.
The neocon, Israel-First chickenhawks who oppose Hagel aren’t fit to polish his shoes.
hell yeah Scott said Racial Colonies
