  Israel is often compared to apartheid era South Africa, but the description of Israel’s politics in this interview made it sound like Rhodesia in the 1970′s. I would be interested in seeing a comparative analysis done between the politics of Ian Smith and the people who were willing to follow him, and the politics of Netanyahu and his supporters.

  Who says that the Israeli colonization of the West Bank is not sustainable? It is no longer true that Palestinians are reproducing faster – the hardcore ultra-religious settlers are having at least as many kids as Muslims, if not more.Once the Palestinians are confined to small reservations, they will no longer be able to reproduce freely. Israel will control their supplies and force them to depopulate. It will be just like the US manifest Destiny 200 years ago when we confined the tribal natives to reservations. South Africa is not a good analogy because the whites were vastly outnumbered there. That is not true in present day Israel, and if the Arabs ever unify into a single country (Caliphate), that will guarantee nuclear war between the Caliphate and Israel.
