About your profile

Your profile is how you represent yourself on Google products and across the web. You can choose to share information about your interests, education, employment, and more. Using circles, you can control who gets to see the information that you share. So, if you only want people who you work with to see your current and previous employment history, you can adjust the visibility of your employment to only be shown to your "Co-Workers" circle. Learn more about creating circles.

Watch the video below for a quick overview on how to add a profile and cover photo, how to edit information about yourself, and how to control who sees the information that you share.

  2. Click the Edit profile button next to your name.
  3. Click any part of your profile that you want to edit. Use the  drop down in each editing window to choose who can see that part of your profile. Click Save when you're done editing each window.
