In reply to “Kerry: US Won’t Hesitate to Attack Iran,” by Jason Ditz, 04/08/13:

Whether the US attacks Iran depends 100% on Iran’s ability to hit back hard and inflict heavy losses on the US, Israel, and western economies. All the rest is BS.

The US, Israel, and NATO like cheap easy victories. And they cannot have that with Iran. Quite the contrary.

In reply to “Taiwan the Latest Nation to Spark US Ire for Cutting Military Spending,” by Jason Ditz, 03/19/13:

There is absolutely no point in Taiwan spending a lot of money on military weapons because everyone know[s] that it cannot go to war with China. If Taiwan declared war with China then America and its allies in the region would tell Taiwan that it is on its own, they can forget about any other country supplying any backup including the US.

Taiwan and every other country in the region needs to work with China. The Americans will just have to forget about military weapons sales which was the number one [reason] for the “re-pivot” into the region.
