Daniel Ellsberg: ‘Obama Has Conducted Clear Cut Impeachable Crimes’

Legendary Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg said in an interview with Juliana Forlano (on the sidelines of a panel discussion which can be seen here) that President Obama “has conducted clear cut impeachable crimes.”
Ellsberg is currently involved in a legal case against President Obama (Hedges v. Obama) regarding the provisions in the NDAA that grant the power to detain individuals, including US citizens, indefinitely without due process. Read more about that here, here, and here.

Is this the same Ellsberg who told those in swing states to vote for Obama in 2012? Did he have an epiphany in the past 3 months?

Figured maybe the bloodsucking leeches that suck on gov teat and nternational cronyism not as bad as damn gop making outright sledge hammer war lesser of two evils.
Elsberg has the typical progreesive disease of lack of spine and gonads..
Like all of them he belives he can talk jis way out of a bullet between the eyes and will still be talking intellectually until just after the hammer falls.
He made himself into a man one tome in his life but gave his nuts away trying to become progressine.

The crimes of US governments goes well beyond the present time.., Obama is just another one which at war in many country, killing innocent people by drone in Africa and elsewhere, engaged and orchestrating wars in Syria and again in Africa. As said before this man is mimicking Doctor Martin Luther King and in some cases he even might sound like Malcolm X or any other black freedom and justice fighter.., but his neither.., he simply was hand picked to show the world the other side of the US politics by being dishonest and deceptive yet continuing with the same politics as before.., as what the US government is about a militarism regime based on vulture capitalism economic and social politics that the system stands for.

Interesting … but pointless . Blaming Obama for the Policy is much like blaming Micky Mouse for Diseny's quarterly losses …. This is not a one man problem ; it is a national problem in which U.S. interest is being undermined by dual citizens in the house of prostitution…. sorry I meant Congress :)

So why isn't there an American movement to implement a policy of "no dual-citizenship persons to be elected to Congress or to serve in high government advisory positions"? When decisions of national interest are made, I want them to be made by US citizens alone. The dual aspect can only creep in to protect the wellfare of the other state involved.

JDonald – Why ? Beats me ….. It is one of those things that is right in front of us ; but we just can't see it .
I, just most of people I know are descendant of immigrants . I appreciate the right of everybody to "relate" to other cultures and nations . But as you correctly pointed out ; it is not in our national interest to have dual citizens in sensitive government positions .
But … again ; where is the surprise ? This is hardly an odd or rare example ……

Unfortunately, Ellsberg, like most of the "Liberal/Progressive" media (including Antiwar.com) is now acting as a Left Gate Keeper. His dismissive response to the 9/11 false flag question is proof positive; anyone who actually studies the available evidence would easily conclude that the Official Governmental 9/11 "Conspiracy Theory" is incomplete, incompetent, a cover-up and a demonstrable fraud. It's a gigantic LIE completely refuted by hard science and the historic record. Furthermore, the evidence strongly supports the contention that elements of the US Military, governmental bureaucracy and domestic and foreign intelligence agencies engineered and executed the attacks. The objectives (now largely realized) were endless wars of Conquest and Plunder, the permanent destruction of Constitutional rights and freedoms and the construction of a domestic Surveillance Police State.

Ellsberg still mistakenly believes that Obama is the "Lesser of Evils"; the reality is that Obama, just like Bush/Cheney, is a Totalitarian Fascist and a puppet of the Militarist/Zionist/Wall Street international criminal cabal. Obama has arguably committed multiple premeditated murders of American citizens based on secret evidence, in secret courts with secret "laws" and without a shred of legality, transparency, public evidence, due process or accountability. He has repeatedly violated his oath of office to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States". If he is not impeached and removed from office America is permanently replaced by Amerika, the evil empire.

I believe ObAma was hand picked by Elitests that control some of the biggest companies in USA and once they realize he is not working in their best interest they will find a way to have him impeached or suppor someone else who will benefit their interest. It is all about the dollar to the controllers and ways they can profit without paying taxes

@mojo: agreed; @lori heatherton: There is no chance to impeach Obama, since the US Congress, as most other 'western' politicians, are in the plot together; any differentiation is as good as cosmetic only. In general, the western democracies are *not* under we the people's control (if they ever were).
At least three basic prerequisites for functional democracy are 1) a fully & fairly informed, involved electorate, 2) a wide range of *honest* candidates, and 3) when elected, representatives who work *for* we the people's interests (as opposed to against us; for proof of the latter see neoliberalism transferring massive wealth from the people to the <1%). All three prerequisites are marked by their almost total absence; the people doze before their wide-flat TVs absorbing propaganda (oblivious to almost all outside interests, even in their own lives), the MSM + even PFBCs (= publicly-financed broadcasters, like the AusBC) relay and *actively assist* the propaganda = the lies all real debate is being smothered by, and the politicians are either purchased-puppets (by corporations, lobbyists including foreign 5th columnists) and/or simply evil = psychopaths. One proof are the illegal wars; changes in government 'flavours' in US, UK & Aus have the wars still being imposed on the hapless (resource-owning) countries (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya & Syria with Iran next and even attacks upon Russia, China presumed to be 'on the table.') Bipartisan = un- & anti-democratic, since it offers the voter *zero* choice.
Since the politicians are corrupt, so too are the laws they make (including the UN); for proof see the aggressive alien invasion underway in Palestine since Herzl (motive) and Jabotinsky (methodology), Meir who raised $50mio in US for arms (means) and UNGA181 (opportunity).
