NFL Honors
The night before Super Bowl XLVII, the NFL saluted its best players and plays from the 2012 season with "NFL Honors," a star-studded football and entertainment event. The two-hour primetime awards special from the Mahalia Jackson Theatre in New Orleans aired nationally on Feb. 2, from 9-11 p.m. (ET) on CBS. Alec Baldwin returned to host the show after serving in the same role in the inaugural show in Indianapolis. Seven of the awards being announced were from the Associated Press, including the AP Most Valuable Player.
