West Doesn’t Accept New Kenyan President
Narrow Victory for Kenyatta Fuels Domestic, International Disputes
Kenyan President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the international community to accept the results of last week’s presidential election, in which he scored a narrow victory, 50.07%, over Prime Minister Ralia Odinga, who has promised to challenge.
Uhuru Kenyatta, the son of former President Jomo Kenyatta, has already been indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity related to violence in the wake of the 2007 election. He had previously served as Finance Minister, but resigned following the indictment.
The domestic dispute around this election could fuel yet more violence, but it may fuel even more international opposition, after the White House threatened “consequences” if Kenyatta won the vote.
So far there hasn’t been a specific response to Kenyatta’s victory, though several nations have offered “congratulation” to the Kenyan people for the election while conspicuously avoiding congratulations for the apparent victor, an unusual measure.

Kenyatta won the election 50.07% to 43.31%, that is not a narrow victory, but a solid victory. When the same margin happens in an American election, you people claim the victor has a "mandate".
ICC is a kangaroo court that is little better than those kangaroo courts railroading Muslim people illegally held in the Guantanamo torture camp. That should have been mentioned, rather than just repeating their fraudulent babble as if it was something that has merit.

The insane world we live in. Any candidate "west" does not approve of will be always "indicted" for one thing or the other. Then in Syria, "our" rebels are recognized as the "legitimate" government, while they kill people in a display of cruelty against civilians not seen recently in the world. The violence is gruesome, and does not spare children — yet we are steadfast. The policy has become so grotesque, that there are hardly words for it — but there must be someone in the seat of power that seems to believe that we just need to send some cruel monsters into any country, and the regime and people will easily be broken down. In Kenya people are tired of the economy and the incompetents, and they want change. The newly elected undesirable person won in spite of the massive fraud to prevent people from voting for him. Failure to lead cannot be compensated for by "rebels" or falsified elections. Leadership by definition, where "good" or "bad" is merely a matter of our choosing does not change the reality. The world is not blind.

Odinga was not supposed to even be prime minister . But becuase of U.S. support and Islamic violence , The United States suggested power sharing in Kenya . Our president campaigned for Odinga in 2007 , Odinga is presidents Obama's cousin . Kenyatta is supposed to be the Christian candidate and Odinga the muslim candidate . Kenyatta is facing criminal charges like the Serbs have been facing in the international criminal court for corruption . It looks like a repeat of the Ivory Coast , where the political correct western democracies support or bomb the Christian side evreytime to stop the conflict . Moderate muslims in Egypt say they think the western democracies now support the most extream, sharia compliant and violent Muslims too evreytime . _ I Just have one question about Islam and Shaira law . If interest is evil ? and I think it is . How do they decide who gets what house or what farm ? If interest is irralivant ? how do they decide just who gets all the palaces and fine cars . It looks like to me war , extortion , kidnapping and inheritance are the only means of tranfering wealth under sharia ,

You are talking out of your ass. Odinga is an evangelical Christian, and most of his tribe mates (Luo) are also Christians. According to Wikipedia, 83% of all Kenyans are Christians. There is no "Muslim candidate" in Kenyan elections, and Sharia law is irrelevant to the issue. you are a long-winded ignoramus.
