Many innovative and creative approaches to sustainable development and placemaking show that we can use our built environment, along with natural systems, to develop a sustainable life on earth. Deep down, people identify with place, and appreciate beauty and nature. This site showcases the work of creative people as they invent new ways of making the places we inhabit sustainable, and those ideas become innovations that make their way across society. Please enjoy the examples and tell us what you think about them, and alert us to others we should post on the site. About the curator: John D.
