Fluspirilene (Redeptin, Imap, R6218) is a diphenylbutylpiperidine antipsychotic drug, used for the treatment of schizophrenia.[1] It is administered intramuscularly.[2] It was discovered at Janssen Pharmaceutica in 1963.[3]

Fluspirilene can be synthesized starting from benzyl-piperidone and aniline.[3][4][5]
