If you are a Premium Publisher, Scribd gives you the ability to customize your profile with your own unique background image. 

Scribd can accept a variety of image types (.jpg, .png, etc) up to 1MB file size. Your background image will be centered on the page, so take careful note when laying out your design. Also remember that there are many different screen sizes that readers might have when coming to your profile page, so you'll want to adapt your design to fit the largest screen size possible, while keeping critical elements close to the top and sides of the profile container.

We have provided a simple template below to help with your design. The template lists common screen sizes as well as layout dimensions.

Once you have prepared your background:

1. Open your account settings and select "Branding"
2. Click "Edit Background"
3. At the top of the page, click "Custom"
4. Click the "Choose file" button.
5. Select your background image and upload it.
