Short Take: BlackBerry wireless email device debuts

Research In Motion Limited is rolling out a new product called BlackBerry, a pager-sized wireless email device. The device, which uses an Intel 386 processor, comes with integrated email/organizer software, a PC docking cradle, desktop software, single mailbox integration with Microsoft Exchange, and flat-rate air time on a nationwide wireless network. It is priced starting at $399 in the United States, including activation fee. Rental options also are available.
