New Saudi Aramco CEO Named
| November 2, 2008 – Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Council for Petroleum and Mineral Affairs has named Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh as the new President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, effective January 1, 2009. Eng. Al-Faleh will succeed Mr. Abdallah bin Saleh Juma’ah, who retires from the company after 40 years of service. In a statement, H.E. Eng. Ali Al-Naimi, Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, expressed gratitude for Mr. Juma’ah’s dedicated service and confidence in Eng. Al-Faleh’s ability to take the helm of Saudi Aramco. |
