The violence continued today. At least 49 Iraqis were killed and 102 more were wounded​.
A bomb on a bus in Sadr City left seven dead and 34 wounded​. A separate car bomb was defused​.
In Baghdad​, a bomb killed two people and wounded eight more in the Shabb district. A bomb in Doura killed one and wounded 10 more. Two people were killed and eight more were wounded in Shabb.
A clash in Mosul left four policemen and four gunmen dead; a captain was also killed. A sheikh was assassinated​.
A suicide truck bomber targeting police in Tarmiya killed four people and wounded eight more.
A bomb killed an officer and wounded three more in Hammam al-Alil.
In Qayara, a suicide bomber killed a soldier and wounded three more.
In Tikrit, an I.E.D. killed three Sahwa members and wounded four more. Two people were gunned down.
Two Sahwa members were killed and three more were wounded during a small arms attack in Dour.
In Tharthar​, a bomb killed a married couple. Iraqi forces killed three gunmen​.
A bomb in Radhwaniya wounded four soldiers​.
Gunmen killed three relatives of a council head in Baiji.
In Kirkuk, a Sahwa member was shot dead. Two soldiers were wounded in a bombing.
Four civilians were killed and 10 more were wounded in a blast in Hibhib.
Gunmen in Kubba wounded a policeman​.
In Iskandariya​, a gunman was killed and two policemen were wounded during a clash. Two gunmen were killed during a separate clash.
A bomb in Samarra wounded two Sahwa members​.
