An army officer was killed in a small arms attack on his home in Jubail, while his wife was critically wounded​.
Gunmen killed a man who was attending his mother’s funeral in Qayara.
In Mosul, gunmen killed a cab driver. A policeman was killed and his brother was wounded in a shooting at their home.
A bomb in Jubail killed a civilian.
Three people were wounded in Kirkuk, while a fourth person was kidnapped.
In Falluja, an I.E.D. wounded two soldiers​. A civilian was wounded in another bombing.
An I.E.D. on a highway near Baquba wounded two soldiers​.
