Zidan: Libya Supports the Choices of the Egyptian People
05/07/2013 21:41:00
Rome—Speaking at a joint press conference with the Italian Prime Minister in Rome on Thursday. Libya’s Prime Minister Ali Zidan said Libya and Egypt are neighbors and have tied with strategic and strong relations that would not be affected.

He also said that the political developments in Egypt are internal affairs that would not affect the existing relations.

“We support any political choice by the Egyptian people and we are with it. We support the Egyptian people and we wish to it peace and stability as its stability and security are also Libya’s,” Zidan said.

“Our relationship with Egypt will not be affected by any change. It is strategic and it will always be strong based on mutual respect, neighborhood and brotherhood,” he added.

He also said “Libya dose not intervene in the internal affairs of other countries.”
