Advising & Counseling
Students are encouraged to reach out to an academic advisor or personal counselor whether for a quick question about a class or for a more serious personal concern.
Students have access to all J.D. advisors and LL.M./S.J.D advisors. These faculty and administrators offer a wide range of experience and professional credentials to help students navigate the many aspects of their law school experience - from the academic to the professional to the co-curricular.
For personal counseling, students may also make an appointment to meet the Law Center's staff psychologists who offer a range of services in coordination with Georgetown University's Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). Off-campus personal counseling is available through the D.C. Bar Lawyer Assistance Program.
