Box Sync change Last week, we made a change to the "Go to my Box Account" link that's available in Box Sync for additional user security. When clicking that link, a user that is not logged into the Box web application will be prompted to do so. If a user is logged in already, they will be taken to the all files page automatically.
Additional special character support This week, we’re rolling out support for an expanded set of names for files and folders, including names that contain the characters " : < > | * and ?. The only names that will not be supported are those that contain / or \, names with leading or trailing spaces, and the special names "." and "..".
Box for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 1.6.2 We recently released an update of the Box for Windows apps earlier last week, fixing an issue with SSO login.

Welcome to Georgetown Box!
We are proud to introduce three exciting tools to support your file sharing needs-- Box Web, Box Mobile, and Box Sync.
Box is a file sharing and storage service that enables you to securely store your documents "in the cloud" and to access those documents anywhere you can connect to the Internet. You can also share your documents with any of your classmates or colleagues.
All active Georgetown credit students, as well as the faculty and staff of the main campus and med center, receive Box accounts for as long as they maintain at least one of those affiliations with the university.
With Box you can:
• Store documents securely "in the cloud"
• Access your documents anywhere, anytime---and on any computer or device!
• Share documents with others
• Collaborate with others within and outside Georgetown
• Sync your documents between Box and your computer or mobile device
You can use Box on a Mac or Windows computer, as well as any popular mobile device/smart phone such as iPhone, Android, Windows and tablet devices.
