Baghdad/ NINA /-- Amnesty International called in a statement on the Iraqi authorities to reconsider the decision to suspend the work of 10 TV channels, and to adhere to international law which stipulate on not to restrict the work of the media, and asked the Iraqi CMC to clarify the cause behind the decision.
Amnesty added: "The suspension decision came after a series of violent clashes and bombings, noting that these incidents has been covered widely by the media.
The Association of Media and Communications, suspended the work permits of / 10 / satellite stations working in Iraq due to adopt a position sympathetic to the demonstrators and protesters, such as Alsharqiya, and Alsharqiya News, Albabiliya , Fallujah, Baghdad, Salahuddin, Alanwar 2, Altaghyiir , Aljazeerah and Algharbiya. / End
