World Cup football-related content: advertising opportunities

The FIFA World Cup will be hosted in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014. The BBC will be there in the lead-up to and during this major tournament with programmes and online content that explores the human stories behind the game, and how football influences Brazil’s culture.

  • Brazil and the Beautiful Game - a three-part documentary that sees England legend Gary Lineker travelling across Brazil to talk to influential and famous people who live there. Clips will also sit online on bbc.com/sport. Duration: 23 minutes.
  • The Perfect Match - 12 short films exploring football’s impact on Brazil. The emphasis will be on human experience told through personal encounters with compelling individuals. Clips will be available on bbc.com. Duration: four minutes.
  • Soccer Cities - this My City spin-off will feature eight Brazilian cities that are hosting World Cup matches. Will run across bbc.com and on BBC World News. Duration: four minutes.
