Monks appeal to Cambodia king over contested election

About 200 monks were stopped by police in Phnom Penh as they marched to the king's palace to ask for a delay to the opening of parliament.
The country is locked in a political standoff after an election in July which was officially won by the ruling Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's People's Party.
