9/20/2013 Colby Rasmus, CF (Tor) Rasmus left Friday night's game against the Boston Red Sox after he was hit in the face with a ball while jogging out to the field in the middle of the first inning.

Analysis: Rasmus was replaced by Kevin Pillar in the lineup. Rasmus was heading to center field when a ball came from the direction of right fielder Anthony Gose and hit him in the face. A Blue Jays trainer went out to help Rasmus and then led him off the field.
9/20/2013 Andre Rienzo, P (CWS) Rienzo was scratched from his start against Detroit on Friday night because of a blister on his throwing hand.

Analysis: Right-hander Dylan Axelrod started in Rienzo's place. Rienzo is 2-2 with a 5.04 ERA this season.
9/20/2013 Troy Tulowitzki, SS (Col) Tulowitzki went 1 for 6 with a home run in Thursday's 15-inning game with the Cardinals.

Analysis: It was Tulowitzki's 23rd homer of the season and his first since Aug. 20.

Analysis: He's now fanned 28 batters in his last three starts after averaging 4.4 strikeouts in his previous 15 starts.

Analysis: Making a bid for a spot in the 2014 Cubs rotation, Arrieta (3-2) didn't allow a hit until two outs in the fourth when former-Cub Aramis Ramirez singled between second and third.
9/20/2013 Nate Schierholtz, RF (ChC) Schierholtz hit a two-run homer for the Cubs on Thursday.

Analysis: He's hit a career-high 21 long balls this season.
9/20/2013 Jonathon Niese, P (NYM) Niese (7-8) threw seven solid innings for the Mets in Thursday's loss.

Analysis: He's 1-2 with a 4.32 ERA in four September starts.
