Christine Spolar is the investigations editor for the Financial Times. She was a foreign correspondent for the Chicago Tribune, a foreign correspondent and an investigative reporter at the Washington Post and on staff at the CBS news show, 60 Minutes, where her work won an Emmy for investigations as well as honors from Investigative Reporters and Editors. She has been an economy enterprise editor at Bloomberg News and was senior editor at the Huffington Post Investigative Fund website. Since joining the FT in 2011, she has edited projects that won honors from the Overseas Press Club and the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School, a former Fulbright lecturer in Slovenia and was a Kiplinger Fellow at Ohio State University.
