An Egyptian police conscript was shot dead on Saturday afternoon in an attack by unknown gunmen in Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai, security sources said.
Moustafa Gomaa, 21, was guarding a government building when he was shot at by a sniper rifle. Gomaa was transferred to the hospital for immediate treatment but he passed away from chest wounds, a security source told Aswat Masriya.
