Death toll in Egyptian clashes rises to 28 - state media

CAIRO, Oct 6 (Reuters) - The casualty toll in clashes during protests in Egypt on Sunday has risen to 28 dead and 94 wounded, state news agency MENA quoted the health ministry as saying.

Fighting began after supporters and opponents of deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood took to the streets.
