Egyptian authorities arrested three people, allegedly belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, in clashes between supporters and opponents of ousted President Mohamed Mursi in Alexandria on Monday.

The clashes erupted when some of Mursi’s supporters tried to create a human-chain by the corniche, blocking the road.

A group of Mursi's opponents stopped the blocking of the road and dispersed the human-chain, leading to confrontations.
