 On October 10, State Security Court decided to release Husam Hasan, an MB affiliate from Isma’iliyyah, who was detained for 7 months despite of the prosecution’s repeated decisions to release him but was turned down by Wadi El-Natron prison administration because his name with mixed up with someone who was wanted by the government.

 

Husam Hasan, a student in the Faculty of Islamic Studies, was kidnapped by security forces on March 13 in Sheikh Zayed neighborhood in Isma’iliyyah during a government campaign against the Isma’iliyyah MB to prevent them from nominating candidates for the municipal elections in April of 2008.
