What annoys you about Metro? We want to know.

What annoys you about Metrorail? Here’s a chance to let us know.

We’re planning a story about daily subway riders in Washington (longtime riders and new customers alike) and what they think Metro officials ought to be doing to make commuting more tolerable. Is there some tiny, bothersome inefficiency that you continually notice and wish they’d fix? No complaint is too small for us — in fact, we’d be particularly interested in hearing about minor issues that haven’t gotten much attention before. Or maybe you have some elaborate, sweeping changes in mind for the subway: We’re eager to hear about those, too.

In the next few days, if you’re interested in being interviewed, please send an e-mail to reporter Paul Duggan — dugganp@washpost.com — and tell him what your gripe is. Please include your name, a phone number and a good time for Paul to reach you. Nothing you say in the e-mail will be quoted in the story, nor will we air any anonymous complaints. We want to speak with you personally, on the record, and maybe even tag along on your commute so we can see firsthand what ticks you off about the subway.
