Four people were injured when Muslim Brotherhood supporters clashed with police forces on Friday evening near Suez's security headquarters.
Police forces fired teargas bombs to disperse supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and of deposed President Mohamed Mursi after they hurled fireworks at the security forces deployed in the area, an Aswat Masriya eyewitness reported.
One of the injured, whose identity remains unknown, was shot in the head and is in a critical condition, said Reda Zaghloul, head of the emergency unit at Suez's health headquarters.
The other three injuries were cases of suffocation because of teargas, Zaghloul added.
