I read with interest the Nov. 3 Metro article “Mission: Seeing, believing” highlighting the Hot Mommas Project — until I turned to its continuation inside the section.

Really? Post editors thought that a photo of these talented women making silly faces was the best way to support a story about their work encouraging confidence and entrepreneurship in other women around the world? What about an image of a Hot Mommas Project award winner? A graphic of the award?

I looked through the rest of the newspaper, yet in no other instance could I find such a ridiculous image. Would you have published a group of successful men making faces? I doubt it. I’m all for fun, but I think that this image did a disservice to the group.
